You may have seen on social media recently that a heartbroken Mum took to a live video where she was deeply distressed and had one message: do not let your children out on scooters, skateboards or bikes without a helmet. Her daughter is a lot older than my children but the message came across loud and clear. I will never let them go on their scooters without their helmets, no matter how short the distance. Nightrider Hubby for charity….

So, hubby is doing the “Nightrider” bike ride challenge through the capital city on Saturday 8th June 2013, he sets off at midnight from Alexandra Palace all the way around London City and it’s landmarks on a 100km route. One of my biggest fears for my family is not having a family home and the charity that Dean is raising money for is “Shelter” who do great work for people who have housing problems. Home owners struggling to pay the mortgage, tenants that have issues with their landlord or a homeless person looking for a roof over their head.
