October half term we took a very spontaneous and last minute trip to the Yorkshire Dales and we had a super time, the only family photo we got altogether though was the one above. This was taken at the foot of Malham Cove. I loved it here, it was such a great location and a nice walk too.
The children walked a lot on that day, I think it tallied around 4 miles and that also included around 380 odd steps up to the top of Malham Cove. They both walked it all, and climbed the stairs – we were both so impressed with them. They must have been so tired.
I love these photos of us at the bottom of the cove, it reminds me of a happy day and one where we talked about silly things and played eye spy for hours it seemed. It was the perfect start to our lovely holiday away.
Beautiful photos. I am very inspired by your fun family adventure. We play “I spy” lots in the car. Thank you for your sharing. New fan of your blog.
