5 places on my wishlist for a family walking holiday #Travel

As the children are getting older, they are more capable of walking a little further and walking harder routes. Noah managed Snowdon when he was about 5 and more recently, we all conquered Mam Tor. We love exploring and so it got me thinking about my travel list and walking holidays around the world – not just in England. So, these are my top 5 places to go on a family walking holiday.  VIEW the POST

Me & Mine: October 2015

Me & Mine: October 2015

October half term we took a very spontaneous and last minute trip to the Yorkshire Dales and we had a super time, the only family photo we got altogether though was the one above. This was taken at the foot of Malham Cove. I loved it here, it was such a great location and a nice walk too.  VIEW the POST

A breathe of fresh air in the Yorkshire Dales

A breathe of fresh air in the Yorkshire Dales

We spent our half term week in an old chapel, in Buckden in the Yorkshire Dales. I had no idea what to expect but was so very pleasantly surprised. We had a fabulous break away and the children walked nearly 20 miles across the week. I was impressed with Holiday Lettings, who made the holiday booking experience easy and quick. The cottage looked exactly like it did in the photos and we have such lovely memories to share forever now. I love holidays like that. VIEW the POST
