October half term we took a very spontaneous and last minute trip to the Yorkshire Dales and we had a super time, the only family photo we got altogether though was the one above. This was taken at the foot of Malham Cove. I loved it here, it was such a great location and a nice walk too.

I am a little late off the mark with getting April’s family photo online, but alas it is still online! Story of my life at the moment. April has been really busy: work, holidays, children’s nursery, children growing up, hubby’s fitness program and somewhere in-between all of that day to day life. We did manage to get out into the woods over Easter and got some lovely photos and a family shot. The children are getting better and better at not posing properly, or they tag team – one will smile whilst the other looks away and vice versa. I am sure they do it on purpose.

I recently came across a lovely idea from some very photogenic lifestyle/parenting bloggers who came up with a great way to share family photos - the Me & Mine concept is simple - every month you post photos of your family, together. Great excuse to get some family photos, it's a great family portrait project.

Last week we were lucky enough to get a family shot of the 4 of us, after we had a fun Easter egg hunt with the Rooks and Daddy Rook took the photo on Daddy Constant’s camera 🙂 We had lots of fun in the garden, but Isla and Noah just wanted their chocolate… but still I think it makes for a cute little Constant family photo.
