As part of Isla Rae's birthday present from Daddy, and a little treat for Mummy too - we were shown a beautiful video that Daddy had made of Isla Rae's first year. It was amazing and after the christening yesterday, he gathered all the family and friends around the big screen and pressed play. We were all captivated, for the whole 20 minute video.VIEW the POST
Noah had his 2 1/2 year check up this morning and the health visitor made him do some things, which I’d never thought of before and I was gobsmacked. She drew a big circle and said who shall we draw and Noah shouted “Isla” at the top of his lungs, so the health visitor agreed and asked him to first draw Isla’s eyes and off he went dotting in the right place where eyes should be – she did have about 10 eyes but still he was in the right area. Next she asked him to draw some hair and off he went and drew her hair where hair should be, the same for the nose, mouth, arms and legs – I was amazed. I have never thought to ask him to do that before, I was so impressed and I can’t wait to get him to practice that every…
My little dinky Isla Rae is going to be 1 years old in 2 weeks time, I remember when Noah turned one and I felt like the year had gone so quickly and in comparison this year has gone so much quicker. We have done so much this year, including a trip on an aeroplane and a trip to Wales for New Year; lots of family events and friends events where Isla has met lots of little people to play games with over the next few years and we have come so far in relation to being a family of 4! It was my second Mother’s Day and we decided to go to the farm this year, Noah loves looking at all the animals and it was a great time to spend with just daddy, mummy and toddler; before the bump becomes a baby! Yes, that is only six weeks away! I got a lovely photo of my little boy, I am very lucky to have such a clever husband… We saw the moo cows, horsies, piglets (3 month old piglets) & fed the goats, chickens & duckies! Noah really enjoyed running the farm and he was able to use the tractors this time around. We had lunch with Deans mum, went to visit Deans nan (it was her birthday Saturday) and then met my mum & siblings for a carvery dinner. Yum yum. Nice day but I am very tired now!
