Today we went for a stroll, in the not so deep dark wood and we didn't see a mouse but the puddle jumping was good. We found our reflections in the rippling ground and jumped on plenty of mole hill mounds. The family fun was nice and good, especially the puddle jumping in the Brampton wood. VIEW the POST
Last Sunday morning we took a walk in the woods near our home, literally a 10 minute drive and we ended up in a great spot. Perfect for autumnal photos too as there was a nice long row of trees either side of the leafy scattered path ways. The children were free to roam about and have fun safely, the perfect kind of family walk in the woods! VIEW the POST
Last month we took a trip to the woods with my brother and sister, it was a lovely couple of hours as we don’t do it very often. We had a walk around and the little people got to spend some time exploring with their Auntie and Uncle. It was an opportunity for a photo too. We recreated a photo from about 20 years ago and it did make me smile. Love my family very much and its times like this that give you nice memories.
I am a little late off the mark with getting April's family photo online, but alas it is still online! Story of my life at the moment. April has been really busy: work, holidays, children's nursery, children growing up, hubby's fitness program and somewhere in-between all of that day to day life. We did manage to get out into the woods over Easter and got some lovely photos and a family shot. The children are getting better and better at not posing properly, or they tag team - one will smile whilst the other looks away and vice versa. I am sure they do it on purpose. VIEW the POST

Today we took the kiddies up to Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, for a lovely walk in the woods to discover Robin Hoods hideout… Edwinstowe is the home of The Major Oak. It is said to be where Robin Hood and his men took shelter and is a place of national heritage and a great tree to visit.
