We’ve had a fabulous break in 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀. It’s been just the time we needed to unwind. I’ve enjoyed spending the time as a family.⁣
⁣
I love being in a warm country, those warm nights and the smell of the heat off the pavement: it makes me 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆. Greece is so beautiful and the people are so friendly.⁣ A huge thank you to everyone at @blueseavillage for making us feel so welcome.

🩷 My beautiful family…

I love this photo, it’s not often we get a photo of the 4 of us. The children are growing up so quickly, it’s really important to me to capture these memories. Noah will be taller than me soon (I have heels on in this photo).

This photo was taken the other weekend at my cousin-in-laws wedding. It was a wonderful day and the sun was shining.

Have you enjoyed your half term with your familam so far?

We had a buffet breakfast at a local restaurant, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 around Priory Marina and then back to my sister in laws for afternoon tea and bunny cuddles.⁣
⁣
So, it’s basically revolved around food & walking. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 👌🏻⁣

🍩 Anyone else looking 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 to some sunshine and a break from routine next week? ⁣
⁣
I have officially completed the academic part of my 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲. I have to now wait until mid July to get results. I’ve never been so nervous. But I’m glad it’s done. I nearly gave up about 20 times over the last 5 months when we lost the pups 🐾 , but I kept going… ⁣
⁣
So, I’ve now got half term to relax and enjoy some well earned time with my 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘮. Goodness knows the hours I’ve lost spending time studying over the last 3 years. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 & I’m looking forward to sunny adventures this Summer.⁣
⁣
This photo was from our trip to 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲. It’s a lovely memory of a happy holiday. I’m hoping we’ll make lots of new memories and big smiles over the coming weeks.⁣

I love photography and being able to get creative with aerial photos and videos really excites me. I got the drone as a birthday gift from my husband and kiddies, I am very grateful. VIEW the POST

5 essential UK festival experiences on my bucket list

I love a bucket list, most of the time I do not write them down. I am one of those people that until the very last moment, everything is an opportunity. Recently I have been thinking about family festivals. We have only experienced this once with the children. It wasn't a music festival or anything, it was Blogstock. It gave us a little taster of what a bigger festival would be like. VIEW the POST

A guide to selecting the best housing option for your aging parents

If you are currently gearing up to have a ‘big talk’ about the future with your elderly parents, you’re probably feeling a bit nervous about the outcome. Thankfully, I do not have to worry about this as both of my parents are in their 50’s, but it does make me worry about how things will be. Especially as I have watched how things with my GrandFathers have developed over the years, it’s difficult. It’s an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved. While making decisions on behalf of a mentally diminished parent can be emotionally draining, there are fewer worries about how to approach the situation and how to bring up the subject of outside care. With cognitively able parents, it can be tough just getting past the mental barrier that says ‘I’m the child. I can’t be in charge of this.’
