3 Important rules for buying a new build home

3 Important rules for buying a new build home

When you’re buying a home, one of the first decisions that you have to make is whether you’re going to buy an older property or a new build. Some people decide to go for an older property because you can usually get a better price if you’re willing to put a bit of work into renovating the place. However, there are a lot of potential problems to watch out for with an older property and if you’re not careful, you could end up buying a money pit. That’s why a lot of people opt to go for a new build because it’s a lot simpler. As soon as the house is built and ready, you can move in without having to make any repairs and renovations. Tell us how wild your child is and win with Muddy Puddles

I found out about a great little survey that Muddy Puddles have open at the moment, they want to find out what children get up to outside, their favourite activities and what makes them happy when exploring the outdoors! I wanted to share it with my readers too. It's a great survey that encourages you to answer it with the children - you cannot predict the responses you will get. VIEW the POST

Survey Reveals UK Parents Experience a Daily ‘Pang’ Of Guilt

Recently an independent survey of 2,000 UK families, commissioned by toy company Little Tikes, reveals that parents are fed up with the lack of quality time spent together, with the average mum and dad experiencing seven pangs of guilt a week! Being too busy or tired to give kids their full attention and working long hours have been named amongst the top guilt triggers. Little Tikes has linked with Olympic Gold Medallist Greg Rutherford to encourage families to ditch the guilt and enjoy the great outdoors this summer with their ‘Little Trikers’ campaign. They’re giving 50 4-in-1 Sports Edition Trikes away to inspire families to join in the sun this summer. Log on now to www.littletikes.co.uk.

Do you know Britain’s favourite drink?

Do you know Britain’s favourite drink?

The British public love nothing more than basking in the summer sunshine, mostly because we very rarely get to see it! It has been in amongst the rain this year that's for sure. You can always tell when the weather is nice - not just because of the glaringly obvious bright yellow things in the sky - but because the beer gardens around the country are usually full, often at lunchtimes but especially from the moment the clock strikes 5pm and workplaces start to empty. Although I do not get the time to do that these days, so it's a nice glass of Pimms for me when the kids go to bed. VIEW the POST

Wish I’d known: first time pregnancy

I wrote a post the other day about pregnancy and it has really got me thinking about what I wish I had known, back then, when I was pregnant with Noah, my first pregnancy. I had a lot of moments afterwards where I said “I wish I had of known that”, I suppose we all have. Those ah-ha moments are often things I tell first time pregnant ladies too.
