Things I do to unwind after a stressful day

…week, month, year! You get the picture. Lots of people ask me what I do to de-stress. How I unwind. Sometimes I don’t accomplish it, but thats because I think you just need to have a good cry or rant to your Hubby & Bestie. Recently I have been feeling a little overloaded and it really made me think of how I can be more mindful again, less busy in my mind and these are the things I do. Hopefully it’s helpful to someone to like me: a working Mum of 2, with pets and a Husband who is just always on the go!

I have had a lull the past week. By that I mean I have not really done any exercise in terms of running, swimming or classes. I find it really hard to keep on top of my fitness when I have had a stressful day. The silly thing is I know that doing exercise will make me feel great afterwards! The children and work/life balance is weighing on my mind so much, that I am just worn out come the evenings and I have been not motivated. VIEW the POST

This week has been a bit all over the place, and unfortunately my fitness plans have gone right out of the window. It all started last week with firstly the gym classes being fully booked and therefore I didn't get a place in them and also our poor little Snoopy got poorly and all my concentrations went on him getting better.
