I received the most beautiful candle holders from Silver Celebrations for Isla's birthday cake. They are silver plated and just look absolutely stunning, in the box and on the cake. I cannot wait to use them again, any excuse to bake a cake. The Princess cake candle holders are simply the prettiest things I have seen on top of a cake. VIEW the POST
This is my spin on the Lyleโs Golden Syrup Queenโs Birthday Cake. It is a beautiful Victoria sponge cake, made with Lyle’s Golden Syrup and the buttercream is also made with the syrup, which makes it have a very lovely flavour. Victoria sponge is the perfect cake choice for Queen Elizabeth and the edible decorations on the top of the cake make it that little bit special.
