I have come across some wonderful gifts for children over the past few weeks and I thought it would be really helpful to list them all in one place, to offer some inspiration for families. You might need one more extra gift for your child, or a niece or nephew to buy for still. Whoever it is for you will get some good ideas below in my gift guide:
Gifts for a boy
Zwoosh Ball – Noah loves this indoor floating football game. You turn it on and it lights up, the fans start and you literally kick it about the house and it’s safe, I think JML Direct have done a fab job with this. At ยฃ11.99 Zwoosh Ball is a great value game that any little boy will love.
Cotton and Olive – Who doesn’t love an organic and soft bathrobe? There are absolutely no harmful chemicals, no hormone loaded fertilizers and no toxic materials used at any stage of production leading up to the end product. The snuggly hood and deep pockets with a beautiful finish around the hems are pretty adorable. And the colour options are just an icing on the top! In super trendy salmon or turquoise colour, your little people will look even smarter, all wrapped up nice and cosy after a bath or swim in total wellness. A great gift of well-being, very well thought of!
Leapfrog – Leap Band and Leaping Letters are fabulous present ideas for the older and younger boys. I love the Leaping Letters game, it is the perfect gift to bring out the competitiveness in children in an educational way. Leaping Letters is a fast-action alphabet game where players race against the clock to put all the letters in their correct spots. If time runs out before all the letters are replaced, they go pop! Then you have the Leap Band which is perfect gift for inspiring kids to get active. LeapBand is the first wearable activity tracker for kids. Now the children can be like Mummy and Daddy!
Gifts for a girl
Remote Control Rescue Boat – Tomy do a great range of products for children of all ages, Isla loves playing with toys in the bath and the shower. She could spend hours in there. The Tomy Remote Control Rescue Boat is perfect for the younger ones. clever boat has a sound activated remote allowing little ones to drive and steer the boat around the bath! Designed for little hands, children simply press the remote once to move the boat forward and again to halt. When pressed again, children will be amazed as water shoots out of Captain Catโs water cannon!
Hetty Vacuum Cleaner – Isla loves helping us out in the house, from peeling the vegetables to wiping the table down. Now she has her own little vacuum cleaner to help clean the lounge up too. Hetty comes with a lot of products inside her, which came in handy when Isla spilt pencil sharpening all over the kitchen floor. It is really life like, it even picks up little bits here and there. It even encourages hand to eye co-ordination. You can buy Hetty from Toys R Us for ยฃ19.99. Casdon have some fantastic gift ideas on their website, take a peek: www.casdon.co.uk.
Cotton and Olive – As with the idea above, what girl wouldn’t love their very own Peshtemal towels? Christmas isn’t all about toys. Large yet ultra light and sturdy peshtemal beach towels are simply great for camping, caravanning, yachting, sailing , gym to name a few. If space, weight and washing are the issues, then these lightweight, amazingly compact towels are just right for you.
