A Christmas gift guide for the grown ups 2016

You may have read my gift guide for the kiddies the other day, well now its Mummy and Daddy’s turn. There are some great gift ideas for various people in your Christmas shopping list, including smellies, hot water bottles and good ole “fashion accessories”.

What better fashion accessory than a beautiful tweed hot water bottle, they are new to Aromahome this year and they are absolutely stunning. They are very soft and snuggly, perfect for these cold and winter nights.

The DVD Me Before You is out to own now, what a perfect stocking filler this Christmas. I love Game of Thrones and I am really excited about watching this movie with Emilia Clarke. Experience the joy of what life and love have to offer with this global box office hit Me Before You, based on the critically acclaimed, best selling novel by Jojo Moyes. I remember seeing the trailers before it came out at the cinema and it looked brilliant. 

The other movie choice for us this Christmas is “Pete’s Dragon” a reimagining of Disney’s cherished family film centered on an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot, who just so happens to be a dragon. Enjoy this heartwarming adventure just in time to entertain the entire family this Christmas, we are putting it in the childrens Christmas Eve box to watch with our glass of milk and chocolate chip cookies! How exciting. 

Home accessories

Rattan Direct recently sent me a set of fabulous set of plant pots, I think they are really slick and on offer at the moment for under £200, these are perfect if you have gardening fans in your family. Or, as my mother in law suggested, she would use them for storage in the dining area of her home and I thought this was a great idea. You can see my example below of the pots in the conservatory: 

What I love most about the pots is that they are all weather, so they do not get tired or fade over time when faced with the elements we get in England. They are incredibly good quality and well made! Inside they have smaller tubs, so that you do not need to fill them completely with compost and save some pennies in the long run. I am looking forward to seeing the bulbs sprout over the Spring season next year.
