If you’re planning a trip to Centre Parcs Erperheide in Belgium, one of the first places you’ll want to explore is the Aqua Mundo. It is the heart of the resort and one of the reasons so many families return year after year.
Before our visit, I spent ages searching online for a detailed Centre Parcs Erperheide Aqua Mundo map. Surprisingly, I couldn’t find one anywhere. There are plenty of photos and videos, but very little information showing exactly where everything is located.
To make planning easier, I created my own Aqua Mundo map based on our visit. Hopefully it helps you decide where to head first and gives you a better idea of the layout before you arrive.

Why use an Aqua Mundo map?
Aqua Mundo at Erperheide is much larger than it first appears. There are multiple slides, pools, rapids, children’s play areas and relaxation spaces spread throughout the complex.
Having a map beforehand can help you:
- Find the slides quickly.
- Decide where younger children will enjoy spending most of their time.
- Locate changing rooms and facilities.
- Plan meeting points for older children and teenagers.
- Understand how the different pools connect together.
The main swimming pool
The large central pool is the focal point of Aqua Mundo. This is where many families start their visit and where you’ll find plenty of space for swimming and relaxing.
The pool is surrounded by tropical planting, creating the familiar Centre Parcs atmosphere that makes Aqua Mundo feel like an indoor holiday destination rather than a typical swimming pool.

The rapids
The rapids are one of the most popular attractions at Erperheide.
These fast-moving channels carry swimmers around twists and turns before returning them to the exit pool. They are great fun for older children, teenagers and adults and are often one of the busiest parts of Aqua Mundo.
If your family enjoys water slides and adventure pools, the rapids will likely become a favourite.
The water slides
One of the most common questions families ask is where the slides are located.
Erperheide features several slides that can easily keep children entertained for hours. The slides are grouped together within Aqua Mundo, making it easy to move between them without crossing the entire complex.
The family slide is particularly popular as it allows younger visitors to enjoy the excitement without tackling the more adventurous attractions.

The children’s areas
Families with younger children are especially well catered for at Erperheide.
There are dedicated shallow areas designed for little ones to splash, play and explore safely. These sections include smaller slides and interactive water features that provide plenty of entertainment without the bigger thrills of the main attractions.
The children’s zones are also conveniently positioned so parents can supervise comfortably.
The snorkelling pool
One of my favourite parts of Aqua Mundo is the snorkelling pool.
Swimming outside while surrounded by nature creates a completely different experience, particularly when the weather is cooler. Watching the fish was the kids favourite part, they loved finding the stingray, it was the first thing they did each time we went to the pool.
Many visitors don’t realise how enjoyable this area is until they experience it themselves.

Changing rooms and facilities
The changing rooms are located close to the main entrance to Aqua Mundo, making it easy to get changed and store your belongings before entering the pool complex.
Facilities include:
- Family changing cubicles.
- Lockers.
- Toilets.
- Showers.
- Baby changing facilities.
Arriving early can help you avoid queues during busy holiday periods. We found it was quietest around lunchtime and in the evenings.
