Bottle Week: Tommee Tippee

Bottle Week: Tommee Tippee

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature range has been a range we used since Noah was born, we still use the bottles and steriliser today and can honestly say that the bottles have been really good - hard wearing, comfortable to hold, easy for baby to hold and easy to keep clean. The bottles designed for 0+ are designed specifically for ease of swapping from breast to bottle, to make it easier to combine feed. With Noah I bottle fed from after week 1 as we both didn't get on with breastfeeding as you may remember. My mum had brought us the Tommee Tippee bottles and steriliser as a gift before Noah arrived and so we felt lucky to have them around when we realised that Noah would be fed better by the bottle. I used the Tommee Tippee electric breast pump with these bottles and it worked really well, the bottles ...

Can’t breastfeed, Won’t breastfeed!

Babyhuddle recently approached me about trying out their fab new site and writing a guest blog post and I am very glad they did, the website is great and the idea of creating lists of products for other mummies-to-be and mummies is a ingenious idea. After a few moments thinking about what a good topic would be to write about, that would be a) helpful to other mums-to-be, b) relevant to Babyhuddle and c) easy to create a list of products for… I had it: Expressing!! It made me think back to Noah’s first two weeks, which in turn, made me feel very smiley. I had no idea I was going to express, until a week into Noah’s appearance, he just used me as a dummy and didn’t feed properly from me. At 2am until 4am some nights, I would just have to stand by his cot rocking him, whilst he was attached…

The Baby Show – Celebrating 10 years…

I am thrilled to be going to the this years Baby Show, 24-26th February 2012 at ExCel in London, it has a brand new look to celebrate ten years of running, so I am a little gutted I didn't get to see it before, to appreciate the new look! But, lets face it, I am still going to have a fab day and so will Noah & Daddy. With over 250 baby and parenting brands attending the baby show, I can imagine that there is going to be plenty for us to see and for Noah to get his hands on. I might need to take a travel bag, just to take the leaflets and documents home with me! Some of the leading brands attending the show are: Fisher Price, Mamas & Papas, Mothercare, Tommee Tippee and this year there are new brands attending: Water Baby, Jack and Lilly and Cheeky ...
