Win a baby sleeping bag and raise awareness about infant colic

Win a baby sleeping bag and raise awareness about infant colic

Infacol recently conducted world research and found that whilst infant colic effects 1 in 5 babies, only 1 in 3 new mums admit that they know what it is and how to treat it. I am one of those Mums, I am 100% sure that Isla had this as a baby. It really upsets me thinking back and that I didn't understand what was up with her, wishing her to just go to sleep.  VIEW the POST

A parenting bloggers sleeping habits

A parenting bloggers sleeping habits

I started off with this title as a "bloggers sleeping habits", but then quickly changed it. I am very sure a parenting bloggers sleeping habits are completely different to those bloggers who do not have children, or at the very least younger children. 20 weeks: big girl

At 20 weeks, we are doing quite a lot of things and compared to Noah she still seems so tiny. She loves standing up in her “spaceship” which is great as it really helps me when I need to attend to Noah or quickly do some housework – yes it is known that I clean up sometimes! She will lie there playing for ages, which is also nice as it means I get to share my time up between them a bit better. She is firmly holding things now, she grabs…

My first month with Isla

My first month with Isla

This first month has been amazing and difficult, all at once, but I certainly wouldn't change it for the world. Whoever told me that having 2 under 2 would be very hard to start with, wasn't lying! I am hoping that the latter part of their advice "It will get easier" wasn't a lie either. Isla is doing really well, she is a little colicky as she gets very upset late afternoon/early evening and has pangs of cries where only tapping her bottom will soothe her. She doesn't really burp, more pops off, so burping her after feeds doesn't really help. The midwife said that infacol will not help either as thats more for burping issues than with trapped wind, the other end. She snoozes on her tummy and when she has processed all the wind, all you can hear is almighty trumps from her moses basket and you can see ...
