What kit your kids will need for your next wild swimming adventure

What kit your kids will need for your next wild swimming adventure

It's no secret we love getting out and about in the lakes, rivers and oceans. Making sure we have the right kit is essential, especially as the whether is getting colder. When Selkie offered us some wild swimming goodies, we jumped at the chance to review them. They specialise in open water swimming clothing!  VIEW the POST

Family fun on a two man canoe #ChillSeekingFamily

In order to prep us for our cruising adventures in August, Carnival Cruise Lines sent us on an excursion near our home. The idea that it would be a chilled family day and something similar to what we could do as an excursion at one of the ports on the med cruise. I have to say the weather could not have been more perfect, no winds, beautiful sunshine and not too hot. We had a wonderful adventure in our two man canoe.

A breathe of fresh air in the Yorkshire Dales

A breathe of fresh air in the Yorkshire Dales

We spent our half term week in an old chapel, in Buckden in the Yorkshire Dales. I had no idea what to expect but was so very pleasantly surprised. We had a fabulous break away and the children walked nearly 20 miles across the week. I was impressed with Holiday Lettings, who made the holiday booking experience easy and quick. The cottage looked exactly like it did in the photos and we have such lovely memories to share forever now. I love holidays like that. VIEW the POST

Country Kids – Danish Camp

Country Kids – Danish Camp

Last Sunday we all went to the Danish Camp in Willington for a nice Sunday lunch and run around, the place is great as there is: a log cabin which provides a great Norwegian bar and restaurant, boat hire, animals to see, a bouncy castle (which Noah loved) and you can go on lovely riverside walks.VIEW the POST
