Spring Cleaning – 5 tips on the big deep and green

A recent survey by Allergy UK found that 78 per cent of respondents believe that they are sensitive to different allergens such as house dust mites, pets, moulds and pollens as well as products that come into contact with their skin such as plants and household cleaners. Baby Health Week: Organic Monkey

Baby Health Week: Organic Monkey

We were very lucky to be sent two very fabulous products from organic monkey:  the first item we were sent was "cheeky monkey" organic cheek rub. It is brilliant for when Isla is teething and really helps to calm her down and you can see the difference in her after a few minutes. The second item we were sent was "bumfluff nappy balm" which I just loved, great for nappy rash and it was so smooth on Isla's little bottom. VIEW the POST

Green People – Organic Skin Balance Giftset

Green People – Organic Skin Balance Giftset

Green People sent me one of their very lovely gift sets to try out and let everyone else know about for Mothers Day. The Organic Skin Balance gift set contains two 50ml bottles: Neutral/Scent Free Cleanser and Neutral/Scent Free 24 Hour Cream.  They are made from the blend of "SEAWEED & ORGANIC GREEN TEA" which sounds yummy and smells delicious too. It doesn't have a strong smell, in fact there is barely a smell and you can feel the organic green tea revitalise your face with the 24 hour cream. It has a very similar feeling to that of tea tree oil, I feel cleansed and fresh and my skin feels really nice after using these products. Since I have been using them, I have had a much better skin tone - no grease and no blemishes. VIEW the POST

It has done a fabulous job of keeping her skin moisturised and hasn’t reacted with her skin or irritated it in any way – it is also scent free so it will not effect her (like some strong scents could). Isla had quite bad dry skin on her scalp, craddle cap I think it is called, I use Dry Skin Baby Lotion on her scalp daily and the dry skin has now come off and her hair has started to grow through it, I am extremely happy to see her little hair coming through – the top of her head almost looked bald with flaky dry …
