One of my all time favourite puddings is rice pudding, I do love semonlina too but I have never been able to master that at home, I tried rice pudding as I absolutely love this too and I wanted to see if I could do. Little did I know that it is one of the easiest things I have made, ever! I just loved the thick skin it had on the top and underneath there was a lovely creamy rice pudding waiting for me. I have been sent a fantastic breadmaker from Russell Hobbs and so I thought I would test it out with a basic white loaf first. I wanted to make sure it worked and that the recipe was OK, it is a really yummy loaf and the breadmaker is fantastic. Such a great idea for home baking, especially, if like me you haven’t got the time to knead your dough and finish off the loaf as you would like to.
To help with Noah's talking and learning words I thought it would be a good idea to start a prompt book with pictures and the associated word to help him along. The reason I decided to make my own book for him is because other books that you can buy don't have the words together that Noah has learnt so far. So I figured if I made him a book of his own, I can add words & drawings as and when he learns new words. So we can practice the words he's learnt and also as he is starting to say new words I can add them to help him learn these words. Like bus, he can say "bu" but isn't pronouncing the S so I've drawn it all up to help him learn. It seems to be working, he's certainly trying! Noah's new word of the week is ...
