Pumpkin carving is a lot of fun

Pumpkin carving is a lot of fun

Last year we didn't really get involved in carving the pumpkins too much with Noah, Isla was a dot and would not have understood what was going on, but this year it was a different story. I am very looking forward to our next Halloween because I will make sure that our pumpkins are carved perfectly with some great characters on them. Noah and Isla would love that. VIEW the POST

#Recipe – Spooky Halloween cake pops

I love being creative with my baking, I couldn't care less if they tasted horrible - I just enjoy making the pretty little things and decorating it all. I usually get hubby to do the baking of cakes as he is great at them, I love decorating them. So we make a good team. This time, I did the baking too and they did taste great. The kids loved this Halloween themed cake pops. I got the idea from Dr Oetker and the great thing about this recipe is decorating the cake pops doesnt have to be perfect, so the kids will love getting involved. VIEW the POST

Halloween & Bonfire Night

Halloween was great fun this year and Isla’s first, Noah dressed up as Dracula that Daddy got him last year and Isla was a skeleton that Nanny & Grandad bought her. I think she liked her outfit, I know she probably didn’t even notice anything was different, bless her, but I thought she looked very cute and the suit was really cosy. It was a cold Halloween’s day and in Cornwall it was chucking it down, so I am glad she had a nice warm outfit to snuggle in. It was funny though as soon as I took the outfit off – she had black fluff all in between her toes! It made me chuckle. How can you be scared of a little beaut like this?
