After Noah kindly drove us to London and our first trip on the DLR (we didn’t even know what the DLR was until Saturday), we made it to the eXcel about 10:30am, which then gave us plenty of time to have a look around, enter some competitions and grab a few bargains and fabulous items that you wouldn’t find on the high street.

I have never been to the Baby Show before, we didn’t know what to expect but as soon as I walked in to the exhibition I was pleasantly surprised. It was like Christmas coming early for Noah & the Bump!

There were some amazing products on show, you know the kind that make you think “Why did I not think of that?“, that I would never have seen, unless at the Baby Show; WaterBaby and their amazing pregnancy drink with Folic Acid and it tasted yummy, Shanticot and their brilliant “bunk cot”, which I thought was absolutely amazing and loved the idea, Noah loved the yBike and so did Daddy, he had fun zooming Noah around the ExCel on his, ย Piggy Bank Toys and their great piggy bank concept for the online toy store, Jackson Reece with the new “nose nuzzlers”, Snoozeshade had a great range of shades for car seats to cots to help the little ones snooze and I loved pushing the Stokke Xplory Concept stroller around the place, such a comfortable pushchair and very stylish! A girl can dream.

It was great to meet the people behind the ideas and also some of the other mummy bloggers out there, nice to see them as opposed to sitting behind the laptop screen. I don’t think I have introduced myself to so many people in such a short space of time, felt a little like speed dating, or what I think speed dating would feel like. But I wanted to give everyone the appreciation for their hard work and say hello at the same time.

Noah enjoyed his time in the Fisher-Priceย crรจche, I didn’t really get the “idea” of it, as I didn’t leave the Fisher-Price area and stayed where I could see him the whole entire time! I think the point of theย crรจcheย is to make the most out of the hour, but he looked so cute running around and playing with all the fab toys, I didn’t want to leave him!

I, unfortunately did not win any competitions, I did enter for the Mamas and Papas Mylo, but no such luck and I am not sure if I am successful with the Fisher-Price comp that I entered. We shall see…

If you missed the Baby Show at the London ExCel then there are still 3 more you can catch at 3 different locations; NEC Birmingham, Manchester EventCity and London Earls Court:ย http://www.thebabyshow.co.uk/ย Have a look on the Baby Show website to get more information and dates of the shows. I cannot recommend it enough to mummy and daddy’s to be, parents of younger children and families of those with bumps and babies too.
