Woohoo, it’s National Unicorn Day on 9th April. Isla’s favourite day of the year (except her birthday of course). Unicorns are a symbol of love, purity, enchantment and magic. These four words describe Isla. She is all of those things and more – so it’s no wonder she feels akin to the unicorns. When Isla was asked to review some unicorn themed products from Claire’s she beamed from ear to ear. She really does love them.
To recreate your very own unicorn themed outfit, you will need:
A mini holographic unicorn back pack
This unicorn back pack is so cute, it’s the perfect size for Isla and the holographic style makes it really sparkle in the sunshine. We took this to the wedding we went to in late March and everyone commented on how cute the bag was. I was carrying it for the majority of the day I might add! The bag comes with a main compartment, front pocket and 2 side pockets for drinks or fairy dolls. This bag is currently £25.
A unicorn sleep mask
Isla has been sleeping with this sleeping mask on everyday since she received it. Isla definitely has unicorn power – she lives, sleeps and breathes unicorns. This is also holographic, like the back pack. The back of the sleeping mask is elasticated which means it can fit lots of different heads (mini me’s and bigger me’s). This is currently in the sale for £2.75.
A set of unicorn hair clips
These snap hair clips are so cute. Isla wanted to wear them all together. I have been putting them in her hair, for school, all tied up so that they do not fall out. Mingle them in to a french plait or add it into a ponytail. It looks cute and Isla loved showing them off at school. They are currently £4 (half price).
A unicorn water bottle
This shaker glitter water bottle is fabulous. I love the design of this bottle, it’s 2 walled which means it has lots of room for the fun glitter that floats around in the bottle. It matches the holographic items above, Isla loves it. It has a spill proof lid which is fabulous as Isla does love to spin her bottle around. This is currently £12.
A fun unicorn headband
I think this headband is so pretty. It has rose gold cat ear features and pretty flowers across the crown. I would definitely wear this if I was attending a festival this Summer! It’s currently half price at £5 too which is amazing.
