Summer is the perfect time to embrace effortless style — those pieces you can throw on and instantly feel put together, whether you’re heading to brunch, a weekend getaway, or just wandering in the sunshine. I’ve styled this gorgeous casual Summer look with pieces from Very that tick all the right boxes for comfort, style, and versatility…. And they make me feel amazing!
Summer, for me, is about feeling comfortable and confident. If something fits me properly and compliments my body shape, I will feel happier, and you will see it on my face. This jacket did just that, it felt so comfortable and it fit me perfectly, I was beaming with confidence. The sandals are my new go to for Summer, they are comfortable, have a heel and they will go with any Summer outfit. I felt like a million pounds walking around with this outfit on.
Let’s go through my outfit in more detail, starting with the Levi’s Original Trucker Jacket in ‘All Mine Blue’ — an absolute classic. This piece is iconic for a reason: the perfect shade of denim, a flattering cut, and a slightly worn-in feel that makes it look like you’ve loved it forever. I love how it adds a bit of edge to a soft summer dress, and it’s the kind of jacket that works just as beautifully over shorts or jeans when the evening cools down. It feels really soft and is so comfortable, this will be my go-to jacket this Summer. Underneath, I chose the V by Very Woven Drop Waist Dress in beige and white. This dress is floaty, feminine, and so easy to wear. The drop waist gives it a relaxed vibe, and the neutral colour palette means you can dress it up or down. I’ve always been a fan of versatile dresses like this — they’re perfect for family days out or even an afternoon coffee catch-up with friends. To complete the look, the UGG Goldenstar Wedge Sandal in Smoke Plume brings the ultimate summer lift (literally!). I love the soft colour, which pairs so well with the dress, and the chunky wedge heel gives just the right amount of height without sacrificing comfort.
