What a perfect way to try new foods and #newthings when you are in a foreign country, in Turkey there are a lot of foods that we haven’t tried back home and the buffet at our hotel provided so many different choices it was fantastic.
Isla didn’t like the look of the crayfish at all and to be perfectly honest I didn’t like the look of it either, it looked really scary. Daddy tried it, he was brave. But me and the kids did try a lot of other foods on holiday and these were a lot of Turkey local dishes with chicken, Turkish Delights and rice pudding for breakfast. It was so lovely. I liked the effort that the hotel went to with the food, carving into melons and oranges which looked fantastic amongst the buffet food. It was lovely and I am so glad we had the opportunity to try new food.
