I would love to go to America, researching different places to go has been one of my favourite hobbies. The USA is a cultural powerhouse, and part of the reason for that is the cities. Whether you love films, food, culture, or a roaring nightlife, there’s a city out there for you. Here are just a few of the most amazing cities to visit in the USA, as well as some reasons why they might be ideal for your next vacation.

  1. New York

You couldn’t make a list like this without including New York. New York isn’t the biggest city in the USA, nor is it the capital city, but it’s definitely one of the most famous cities in the world, let alone the US.

New York is iconic, and for good reason. While you’re there, whether for a weekend trip or a longer stay, make sure to soak in some of the more famous landmarks. There are loads of tourists in New York, but there’s also a lot to see.

Go shopping on the high street, visit Broadway and the other theaters nearby, and have a trip to remember for the rest of your life.

  1. Los Angeles

If you’ve ever enjoyed a film, you’ve probably seen some part of Los Angeles. One of the biggest reasons to visit this city is to relive some of your favorite film moments and soak in the modern history and culture of the area.

But if you want to do more than look at the Hollywood sign and hope to spot some stars, you can also enjoy the warmth of the sun and the beautiful beaches in LA. It also features a great nightlife and plenty to do and see.

  1. San Francisco

San Francisco is another West Coast wonder, with loads of cultural and historical sites and landmarks to visit. You can see the famous Golden Gate Bridge and the beautiful Golden Gate Park. You can also enjoy the amazing food scene in this area, especially as you explore ChinaTown.

Again, as a coastal city, San Francisco is often warm and sunny, so you can even enjoy walking around.

  1. Philadelphia

Philadelphia, otherwise known as Philly, is a stunning city that’s uniquely walkable. If you look for hotels in Philadelphia Center City, you can get to plenty of the cultural sights and landmarks on food. You can find relatively temperate weather here, but it still gets cold in winter so definitely pack for cooler weather.

Make sure to try the philly cheesesteak and to visit the great markets while you’re here.

  1. New Orleans

New Orleans features an incredible culture that’s completely unique in the USA and well worth a visit. You’ll see plenty of African American, French, and Spanish notes of history here.

Don’t forget to try the great food and the music scene.

  1. Aspen

For a change of pace, consider visiting the beautiful city of Aspen. If you like skiing and other snow sports, you’re in the right place. You can also explore the surrounding area for amazing views of the Colorado countryside.
