Today’s keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, May day 6, is “colour”. A lovely bank holiday dog walk together as a family, this morning… we’ve had a busy weekend and I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to.

We’ve completed both kids bedrooms, including painting wardrobes, carpets and all the trimmings. I’ve nearly finished the downstairs toilet makeover and we’ve given the conservatory a little spruce up too.

We’ve also made a start in the garden, we now have a dining set and I had an accident with a rather large (and heavy) bush on a trellis by our front door. Let’s just say it’s no longer there, which wasn’t my intention at all. This very heavy bush landed on top of me… I’m pretty sure my neighbours are making £250 out of that!

Happy bank holiday weekend everyone #mummyphotoaday

May photo challenge

I love seeing all of the variety of photographs each month. There’s nothing better than a photo challenge. I love the subjective element to the photo challenge too. Everyone’s perspective of the theme is different. It has made me smile seeing all of the images so far. Thank you so much for the support in my latest adventure

Here are the May prompts as a reminder, I would love for you to join in. Take a look at the photos that have been uploaded so far #mummyphotoaday.
