Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pixar’s Toy Story

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pixar’s Toy Story

Not only have we been making the most out of Disney+ with the Marvel collection. We have been enjoying the Pixar collection too. Did you know it is Toy Story's 25th anniversary? I cannot believe it has been 25 years since that movie came out. I remember watching it for the first time and being absolutely blown away. I think every household has a Woody or a Buzz toy somewhere. To celebrate I thought I would write a little about the Pixar movies available on Disney+. VIEW the POST

Noah’s overnight stop in hospital

It struck me yesterday that Isla, Daddy and Noah have all visited A&E since lockdown started. Isla as she had a concussion. Daddy, as he has been getting chest pains, which turned out to be torn cartilage by his ribs and at the weekend, Noah. Noah presented with abdominal pains, to the right of his belly button and he was in a lot of pain. I wanted to document what happened at the stop in hospital, in case it helps with someone else in the future.

Essential Summer item: the Tesalate sand-free towel

Essential Summer item: the Tesalate sand-free towel

We love the beach, we love packing up the car and heading to our favourite beach for the day, as a family. It is the perfect way to unwind and we love the sea breeze in our face and sand in toes. What we do not like is the collection of sand in the car on the way home and then the house covered in sand too. The Tesalate sand-free towel stops this from happening and are super stylish too. Making time for your relationship after kids

Parenthood is hard. There is no parent out there that will say it’s easy because it takes so much from you. I'll start off by saying they don't just take, those children of yours, but when you spend your whole life being you, it’s hard to give up some of you to be mum and dad. It then ends up that you become only mum and dad for a while, forgetting that before your cherubs came along, you were husband and wife. You had fun and romance and a lot of love for eachother, and while that love hasn't changed, you certainly do things differently now. You need to think about how you can keep the relationship alive while you navigate feeds, nappies and endless sleepless nights. VIEW the POST

Fun games to play at home during lockdown

We love playing fun games as a family, albeit we have a little man that doesn’t like to lose, we have been trying new games and old games together. Like Scrabble, something Daddy and I used to play when we were younger. I remember having game afternoons, on a Sunday, with my siblings and Mum growing up. We liked Mouse Trap! Great game. Some of these games were meant to be travelling with us to Dubai. I stocked up on these little games as they are the perfect size to have in a backpack. I knew we would have long waits at the airport, the plane journey was long and I thought they would be fun to play with our friends when we got to Dubai. As we didn’t go, they actually still came in very handy as we have been playing them throughout lockdown. They are great family fun…
