I know, its half way through the year and no where near Christmas, but I am already thinking about my favourite things. My favourite food combinations at Christmas are: turkey, cranberry and cheeses! It is very easy to just throw food in a bowl, any kind of food without a real thought as to how much your little furbabies (pets) need and whether the food is the right food for them. With our recent scare with Snoopy things have changed dramatically at home: we weigh out both dogs foods accurately now and we have started feeding them half of their allowance in the morning and the other half in the evening. Now I don't mean for this blog post to come across in a negative way! All I mean is that as the days progress, the children grow and life moves on - it gets different. Things were hard become easy. But new things crop up. I am so looking forward to September as Noah starts school and Isla gets her government funded free time, so my bank balance will look a lot better but with it comes more juggling and I am sure it is going to be hectic. As part of the #newthings challenge from Boundless Things to do it was great when I saw the topic of experiencing a new culture. We were in Turkey, what better way to experience a new culture. Although we were staying on a resort with First Choice, we walked out of the resort a few times and ventured into the village of Serigerme to experience a little bit of culture.
