bizzybee – a modern mum

bizzybee sent me some great products to review, they're perfect for the modern mum - durable, fashionable and look fabulous! I was sent 3 pairs of rubber gloves to look at: ‘bizzybee multipurpose gloves with moisturiser’, ‘bizzybee multipurpose gloves’ and ‘bizzybee patterned gloves’ and I was also sent a groovy bizzybee scourer which just looks so pretty sitting on the kitchen sink and some funky bizzybee patterned cloths. I didn't want to use the scourer it was too pretty! But I did, we gave it a vigorous test on the oily pots and pans, the products were really good. I love products that are a little bit different and fun, it makes me want to do more cleaning (sad I know) but it is true. Nappy week: gNappies eco friendly

One cute cover. Two nappy options. We were sent some lovely gNappies to try out on little Isla and we got on with them really well, we were sent a small goddess pink gPants and gurple purple gPants with 10 gRefills. I hadn't heard of gNappies before or their concepts, but I am so glad that we were sent them to review. So what is a gPant and what are gRefills? Well I can tell you that combined they are really clever little eco friendly nappies! The difference with these nappies is that they are part reusable and part disposable, so you get to have the stylish, fashionable and funky looks with the yucky bit that you throw away! Apparently 8 million disposable nappies go into landfill in the UK everyday and they take approximately 500 years to to break down, so using gNappies and the gRefills has made me feel like ...

Nappy week: itti bitti – bitti tutto

Isla was sent a fabulous Fuchsia bitti tutto cloth nappy, it is beautiful from feel to look. Its bright and a really vibrant colour and it felt so soft, I wanted to cuddle her like a little teddy bear when she had it on. We tend to use it at night time, we clean it and when it’s ready for use again, on it goes and I get my cuddly little bear back. The bitti tutto range are very clever, they have a special system of “snaps” so that it fits babies from newborn size to 44lb (which I think is about a size 5 in disposable nappies!). You can see from the image below roughly how it works: It has hip snaps for all 4 size settings, which are hidden under a piece of soft fabric and they help it keep its shape and fit snuggly around little…
