Isla and Noah were sent this post office playset from Chad Valley, it is so much fun. They really get into their roles as post office clerk and customer. A really great idea for a creative child. It is full of so many bits there is endless amounts of fun, ideas and scenarios with this playset. It also packs up into a handy size, great for travelling around with the children (or just tidying up).
We are a big fan of Chad Valley toys in this house, like Noah’s love for the interactive map we have. They learn so much and that spills through with this playset too. This set has money, so maths and counting is a great part of the learning they can do when playing. There is passport paperwork, so the children can learn about places and we discussed what has to happen when people apply for passports. The stamps sparked a long debate about what function they have and how expensive they are.
Isla loves the post office playset and she sits with her dolls and plays with it. It comes with so many parts, its incredible: stamps, airmail stickers, parcels, postcards, envelopes, driving license, tax disc, play money, savings books, notepaper and ink stamp. It folds out from the post box shape into a desk, so you can have a post office on one side and the customer on the other side. Then it folds away neatly into the post box shape again! It’s such a clever idea for a child’s toy. The post office playset is currently ยฃ9.99, great for birthdays or even Easter.
