I felt very privileged to receive a copy of The Gloriumptious Worlds of Roald Dahl, a book that has been put together by Carlton Books with permission of the Dahl estate. I love Roald Dahl, he comes into everyday life via his stories all of the time. It is like a little scrapbook of this works, in a colourful and Quentin Blake esq layout. I love it. The 59 page book brings to life Roald Dahlโs most loved characters and stories, exploring the stories behind his most loved books, in celebration of what would be his 100th birthday, today the 13th September 2016.
Our favourite bits are the more interactive pages, the children loved the fact the pages were all different sizes and the book ends were a clever idea. Mummy loved finding out lots of facts about Roald Dahl. It’s an amazing book put together really well. I recommend it to all Roald Dahl fans. Make sure to spend special attention on the witches guide, some useful information in there!
What do I win?
You can win your very own copy of this amazing book for children and grown ups alike. Unforgettable illustrations by Sir Quentin Blake are scattered throughout, giving the scrapbook a charming, familiar quality. In contrast, unknown facts, anecdotes and background stories for some of Dahlโs most famous books such as James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Danny the Champion of the World wait to be discovered by keen readers.
How do I win?
To win this book, worth ยฃ16.99 all you have to do is use the entry form below, the competition closes at midnight on 23 September 2016 (10 days).
