I love this photo. Wintery days on the beach is my favourite. We usually go for a Winters walk around New Year. There’s just something about the fresh sea air and crisp frozen sand.

But this photo sums it up. Big smiles. Happy. Carefree. Fun family adventures.

I wish my house backed on to the beach, wouldn’t it be amazing if you’re #garden was the beach? Or you had your own private stretch of beach. It would just be amazing.

We’re not far from the beach, but I do wish we lived a bit closer. One day. That’s the dream!

We used to live half an hour from the coast, reflecting back we didn’t make use of it as much as we should’ve. Maybe there’s a lesson in there for me!

I love this photo. Wintery...

I’m finally saying goodbye to Autumn. Well, in the living room in any case. A #change is as good as a rest. As they say. The Autumnal goodies have gone back in the loft and the festive decor has been installed. I can’t wait to show off the tree and my beautiful mantle. Albeit it will be shared online only 🤣.

I had a good clean before I put the decs up. I always have a thorough clean and the Blade4 is just perfect. She is so handy, battery powered and very powerful.

It picks all the pet fur up, it leaves the floor clean and not only that, it leaves those wonderful vacuum marks on the carpet! We all strive for that don’t we?

I love this quote and it is so true. We sometimes 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 aimlessly without purpose, never lost, just exploring the surroundings. I love that when we go on holiday we always 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 where we are staying.⁣

It’s also nice that when we walk, we talk. The kids chat about things they wouldn’t normally talk about and we have quite random conversations as a family.⁣

Noah was feeling sad today. It wasn’t nice seeing him emotional. Daddy took him for a walk and they talked about his feelings. His girlfriend has broken up with him and he’s really sad. Daddy tried to reassure him that he’ll probably have lots of girlfriends. His reply was “but I don’t want lots of girlfriends”. He breaks my heart with his big 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. 🥰 He is going to be a very loving and caring husband one day.⁣

And, just like that... they walked away from November. It’s gone really quickly considering. We’ve had lots of family adventures along the way and it’s also been a time of reflection.

This photo is from a trip to the #forest last year. I loved this location. Darwin Forest was just beautiful and I can’t wait to explore it some more next year.

Something a little #different than my usual bright blue skies. This was a perfect storm brewing, travelling very quickly towards us. The #sunshine was beaming down on us from behind. It was very surreal.

Have you ever been in that position where you have sun on one side and dark grey storms on the other? It’s amazing how they contrast.

As much as I love this photo. Seeing the kiddies having fun, it does bring the memories of what happened 10 minutes later: we got caught in a hail storm. It was horrible. We all got soaked through... even the dogs were shaking! Needless to say I got the family waterproof trousers the following day!

Typical English weather... I should have been more prepared! Are you an embrace any weather kind of family or only on the good days?

Something a little #different than...

I adore the Autumn sunshine, it paints everything such a beautiful shade. A hint of gold sparkles across the land. Then in the mornings it sparkles with the crisp drops of frost.

The weather has been amazing over the past week. I truly love this time of year where we can put on our big bobble hats and walk amongst nature’s beauty.

It’s #mindfulness at its best. Not only are you taking in the moment but you’re at one with it. However; at this precise moment the rest of my gang were having Berry fights right behind me. Launching berries at eachother seemed the most logical thing to do on our afternoon walk! 🤣

I’m practicing the mantra “Amongst the chaos there is calm”.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here over the past couple of days, not feeling quite right and super tired. So I’ve been snoozing a lot & resting my eyes. Sometimes you just have to stop and watch the sunset...
