I absolutely love sentimental pieces of jewellery, something that reminds you of a certain place in time or simply of someone. When Joshua James asked me to review s piece of jewellery from their engraving section, I jumped at the chance. I also get to run this fabulous competition too to win £100 to spend in their engraving section on the website.

I chose the ChloBo Rose Gold Bobble Chain Moon Flower necklace. Not only is this a beautiful colour and design, but it also holds a lot of significance to me. A moonflower is a rare cactus flower that can be found in tropical rainforests in Brazil, it only flowers between sunset and sunrise, the flower lasts a single night. Each flower is so precious and unique, with a limited time to bloom. It represents my babies, the preciousness of children and their fragility. The fact it comes out at night also represents me; I am definitely a night owl as opposed to a morning person. Unfortunately the only flowers I have in my garden are Tulips right now!

I love the design of the necklace; it looks so elegant and really captures the pretty cactus flower. The little details even flow into the chain with the bobbles, it is a little different to anything I have ever seen before.

As with any item of jewellery I love the packaging, the extra details that make them such a beautiful gift for a loved one. This necklace came in a suede pouch, within a cute little box and in a giftbag. It’s really lovely and makes it feel extra special.
