We were sent a beautifully made vintage baby book  to review from Trotters in celebration of the Royal Baby’s arrival – its the first ever baby book from Trotters and it was certainly worth the wait.

We received a very beautifully packaged parcel, with a special Trotters bag and the book itself was wrapped in branded Trotters tissue paper – it really made the package feel extra special. Something special like a baby record book is a sacred gift and Trotters have really thought about that.

The book comes in its very own box, which helps keep the book in good condition, so that you can keep the memory book safe forever. The baby book can be filled with photographs and special milestone moments that help to celebrate your baby’s first year.

When we first saw the original copy of this baby journal, we fell in love with it. Sadly it was out of print and unavailable for publication so we decided to re-publish it ourselves, keeping faith with the original hand drawings and beautiful design.

Trotters have really done the book justice, the hand illustrations are beautiful and the pages within the book are such a good idea: recording maternal and paternal sides of the baby’s family tree, growth chart for baby’s first year, record of who sent cards and presents to celebrate the birth, details of the christening and for milestones such as first curl, first tooth and first baby babble.

This vintage baby record book, devised and illustrated by Meg Wohlberg is £14.99 on the Trotters website: There are some other fabulous Trotters Royal products on the Trotters website to celebrate the Royal Baby Prince, including: ‘Born 2013’ Bone China Piggy Bank, Limited Edition ‘Celebration’ Crown Shoes, Baby Girls finest 100% Cashmere Cardigan, The finest 100% Cashmere Baby Booties and 100% fine Cashmere Baby Blanket.
