As recommendations go, this is quite a big one as I am writing an entire blog post about it. But it has really hit me. This show has been described as gruelling and tender television and I have to agree. Maid is a Netflix miniseries based on a true story. It's a story of Alex, who is trying to get out of an abusive relationship and survive with her 2 year old daughter. It has left me feeling heartbroken and empowered, all at the same time.
