On Sunday we went for a lovely walk in the woods. It was nice because we ended up at the RSPB bird lodge, spontaneously. It's a nice walk along the woodland to get to the lodge, surrounded by nature. A straight line with a forest on one side and big open space on the other. It makes for great perspective photos. Daddy took his big camera out too, always guaranteed a nice photo! VIEW the POST

On Saturday morning we met the very lovely Hattie Garlick and the team at Rainham Marshes RSPB to celebrate the launch of Hattie’s new book Born to be Wild in a very nature oriented, let’s get outside kind of way. Yes! I can finally say that I am so happy to see autumn: cool days where we can wrap up warm and venture to a forest or park and throw autumn leaves around and have the most fun! We spent a couple of hours walking around our local RSPB this weekend, it was a lot of fun and that goes for the adults too. If you go down to the woods…

…today! Today’s Country Kids is coming from our local local RSPB nature reserve, where we spent the sunny (ish) morning making the most out of the weather, it was nice to let the children roam free and explore the woodland and get some beautiful photos along the way. I was using my point and shoot Nikon and Daddy had this proper cameras, so I am sure Daddy’s photos will be a million times better. …
