Things I do to unwind after a stressful day

Things I do to unwind after a stressful day

...week, month, year! You get the picture. Lots of people ask me what I do to de-stress. How I unwind. Sometimes I don't accomplish it, but thats because I think you just need to have a good cry or rant to your Hubby & Bestie. Recently I have been feeling a little overloaded and it really made me think of how I can be more mindful again, less busy in my mind and these are the things I do. Hopefully it's helpful to someone to like me: a working Mum of 2, with pets and a Husband who is just always on the go!  VIEW the POST

A Rubik tastic time this Autumn #rubiksbacktoschool

I love a Rubik's cube, I have done since I was younger and they haven't changed a bit. The only addition to the Rubik's family is the introduction of the junior puzzles - in all shapes and sizes. A great idea for impatient little ones like Isla. There is one in every room in our house, great for fiddly fingers or training our brains!  VIEW the POST

The Gruffalo shaped puzzles by Ravensburger

Isla loves puzzles, she also loves the Gruffalo stories, she will spend hours playing with them and so it was no surprise that when we received The Gruffalo shaped puzzles it became a favourite. Making them up and then breaking them up again, on repeat! I secretly think she challenges herself to do them quicker each time. It’s not just Isla that loves puzzles, her friends do too and she spends hours playing puzzles when they are over.
