World Book Day 2022 takes place on March 3rd, and it’s bound to be a special one. World Book Day was established in 1995, but was first celebrated in the UK and Ireland in 1997, making this year the 25th anniversary of the iconic event. Many schools and nurseries celebrate World Book Day as a way to encourage children to develop their reading skills, and discover the joys it can bring. For adults, World Book Day can mean dreaded costumes and time-consuming activities, but the beauty of the day is that it has the power to reignite your passion for reading, and help you reminisce on your childhood favourites, too. Happy 90th birthday Winnie the Pooh

I am sure I am not the only one in the world that loves Winnie the Pooh, I have been a major fan since I was small and I have passed that love down to my two little ones. I used to do anything possible to involve Winnie the Pooh throughout school, I remember one of my GCSE art pieces was a painting of the Hundred Acre Wood, it was a fun thing to paint. Due to it being Winnie the Poohs 90th anniversary this year, Disney have taken the Hundred Acre Wood in to the digital era by making it interactive on the Disney website. VIEW the POST

The new range from Vtech: Toot Toot Friends

We recently had the privilege of testing out the new Vtech Toot Toot Friends range and the children just loved it. There are so many characters and things to interact with around the house, hospital and the characters belongings that it created this new little world in the playroom. I just loved hearing Isla talking to her characters and playing along, it is great imaginative play and it will help develop their language skills over time. Noah and Isla show you around the Toot Toot Friends home and hospital, also introduce you to some of the fun characters in our video on the MummyConstant YouTube channel.

A very Marvel-rific toy guide

Noah has finally got to that age where he just loves Marvel and all of those fantastic characters. He is obsessed with Spider-Man and now Hulk, Iron Man and Thor, thanks to the wonderful Disney Store. Noah was sent some fantastic toys and the best dress up outfit I have seen for a little boy, Thor. The toys have been played with on a day to day basis, the dress up outfit has been wore pretty much daily too and that is saying something for little Noah.
