You may have seen on my Instagram Stories that I featured the Cup Clean product that cleans your cups to make them look brand new. As part of a new campaign with Astonish, I am going to be showing you some fab cleaning hacks and not only that: keep an eye out for my fab Astonish competition coming soon.

The best way to describe what this product is all about, is to show you. Below are 2 photos – the first is before I used Cup Clean and the second is after using it. I left the cup for the time suggested, 2 hours, and it came up like a brand new cup. I was amazed.

How does it work?

cups

It is really simple to use Cup Clean, and takes 2 hours for the process to complete on a cup. You can obviously do multiple cups at a time. If you have favourite ones, like me, there will be a handful that are more stained than others!

  1. Put half a tablespoon of powder in the cup
  2. Pour in hot, not BOILING, water from the kettle / hot tap
  3. Leave for 2 hours
  4. Rinse well (I put them through the dishwasher)
  5. Admire beautifully clean cups!

I think it’s a brilliant idea and I cannot believe how clean the cup was. Do not get me wrong, I knew it would work, but I didn’t think it would come up as clean as it did. I will be adding this to my monthly Thursday cleaning list.

You can grab this from Ocado for only £3. What a bargain? I still cannot believe how beautiful and clean the cups look after using it. Do you have stained cups that this would work wonders on? I almost feel like we should find the most stained cup in England and see if it works!

I’ve used this product and it is as good as it says on the pack. My husband’s workshop is in the cellar and cups sometimes stay there for quite some time! But they come up sparkling after using this

Thank you for sharing this super tip! I am fed up of having to search for a non stained mug when visitors are round haha! I do often bleach them but this sounds much better.
