Recently my sister bought her first house and it made me reflect on when we bought ours back in January of this year, what was needed and things that we would never have thought about buying. So I thought I would collect together some ideas for buying those new house gifts.

Personalised Champagne Flute holder

Holder

I absolutely adored this champagne flute and bottle holder. It is made from Welsh Ash and the engraving looks really stylish, I love the font. I got this for my sister and her partner when they moved in, along with some new champagne flutes. It was a good choice as they got a lot of champagne but no flutes and especially not a unique bottle holder. This gift is £29.99 and a great accompaniment to a bottle of champagne and glasses as a new house gift.

Personalised photo gifts

I think this is a lovely idea, when the family have moved in and got some photos together – a personalised photo gift is a great way of capturing a memory and something that can be displayed in the new house too. We have lovely personalised photo gifts around the house and they really do add a little something extra.

Something different…

Well, for those that have everything or you are really not sure what they need then a personalised sweet hamper can never go wrong. I love this idea, my sister and her partner love sweeties and I love the hamper that it comes in. The retro hamper fits a name (up to 15 characters) and a short message. It is full of wonderful goodies that you will remember from when you were little. This hamper is £36.99.
