Toys Naturally are a great company, with a fab website, that do fabulous toys for all ages: we were sent a Wooden Fun Stacker to review & Noah has really enjoyed stacking and learning with it. The fun wooden stacker develops motor skills and hand eye coordination, which take time to develop in the early years. Stacking toys are a great way of developing the motor skills required, while simultaneously developing organisational and problem solving skills as toddlers play. Not only this but we can learn colours and sizes with the stacking pieces and this helps to deal with Noah’s frustration as he learns how to do it properly. The wooden fun stacker has a guide of 2yrs+ but Noah has been fine with using this toy, he can be a bit brutal with the wooden pole but we only let him play with it under supervision due to the…

TOY WEEK: PlayMerrily Toys

Noah has been lucky enough to have a great chance to play with some fab wooden toys from PlayMerrily Toys; they sent us over a Wooden Fruit Cutting Set and Wooden Cake Box Play Food from BigJigs Toys. The Wooden Fruit Cutting Set is such a great idea, we play with this together as the age recommendation is 3+ years (Noah has not had any problems playing with the wooden toys and there is nothing too small that he can choke on). I think its a fantastic product; not only does it look great, the paintwork on the wooden fruit is fantastic. It’s such a great concept: teaching little ones how to control cutting foods – ideal for understanding meal times, teaching little ones how to half and in some cases section into 3 – when Noah gets a little older it will help me teach Noah to understand a little ...
