Thanks for coming to #SilentSunday on 20 September 2020. We have had an odd week, it should have been the kids first full week back at school and Isla fell sick. So, she had 2 days at home. Thankfully by the end of the week, everyone was OK. We made the most of our day together yesterday and went out on the river; Daddy and Isla on the Paddleboard, Noah in a kayak and Mummy in a kayak. Thanks for coming to #SilentSunday on 23 August 2020. This week the grown ups have been back to work, albeit at home still, and the children have been at Summer Camp – dance and sports all week. They have loved it. We usually use around 4-5 weeks of camps at Summer but this year only had the option to use 2 weeks (due to COVID-19). The next 2 weeks we have to juggle kids and work, like homeschooling without the homeschooling. Wish us luck.

We have had a lovely week off together as a family; we explored around the Peak District and had some well earned chill time at the end of the week too. Ready to tackle the last few weeks of the Summer Holidays and then a new normal with Back to School. It's been nice to wind down. VIEW the POST

This photo is from our impromptu trip to Cambridge yesterday, we went out for a meal to celebrate Daddy's birthday (this coming Tuesday) and it was so nice. We splashed in the new stream area at Sheep's Green. Its the perfect place to spend a silent Sunday. VIEW the POST
Thanks for coming to #SilentSunday on 2 August 2020. We have enjoyed the first week of the Summer Holidays as the kiddies went to Summer camp. It wasn’t the same, as there was a lot of measures in place for keeping distance and ensuring the kids are well. However, the kiddies still had fun. We also had a fun beach trip to kick off the Summer and it was nice to feel the breeze and the sand between our toes.
