I am truly sorry that I missed last weekend, as some of you may have seen I spent the night in hospital with Noah and therefore didn't have time or any signal in order to make the post. Thanks for coming to #SilentSunday on 5 July 2020. We have had a nice few weeks. Not much has changed for us, we are still distancing and still only really socialising with our household. We have seen a couple of people, grandparents and a coupe of friends, distanced, but other than that we are just us. We had a nice trip to the beach, it was pretty empty and the fresh air was perfect. What have you been doing?

The hot summer we are currently enjoying in the UK has got us all thinking about how to enjoy the sun responsibly. It's really hot, even when you are sitting in the house, let alone the sunshine. It is really important to have fun and keep those children safe. There is nothing worse than sunburn and there is no more obvious sign of parenting fail than a sunburnt kid! And yet, we want our children to be out and about all summer long, enjoying adventures and the lovely warm sunshine because who knows when weโll see the big orange ball in the sky again?
