#HariboShareTheScare Making our very own Halloween outfits

Who says you have to go out and buy new costumes each year? I was asked to #HariboShareTheScare with my readers this year, by Haribo, what better way to share the scare than to give my readers some fun tips on how to upcycle old clothes for Halloween costumes. I love being creative and making things, I try to make the time to do this every year. Here are my top ideas on how to make use of what you have already…  VIEW the POST

My iron-on project with Cricut Easypress 2 #ad

My iron-on project with Cricut Easypress 2 #ad

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. var ts=document.getElementById('ti-pixel-tracker'); var axel = Math.random() + ""; var num = axel * 1000000000000000000; var ti=document.createElement("img"); ti.style.display="none"; ti.src="https://tracking.tapinfluence.com/trk/5bCGp/yXM5z/p.png?p=0nTz8" + String.fromCharCode(38) + "i=HgGLc" + String.fromCharCode(38) + "ord="+ num + String.fromCharCode(38) + "s=" + encodeURIComponent(document.referrer); ts.parentNode.replaceChild(ti,ts); JSON.stringify({"program_id":"421bc480-1e9a-11e9-973d-0a9d66b43152","post_id":"52712cf0-1f56-11e9-90de-0a9d66b43152"}); I couldn't wait to try the new Cricut Easypress 2, I had heard a lot about the product but never had the chance to try it. It is amazing. It's perfect for iron-on projects and crafting up something specular. It's a lot safer to use too. I based my design on the heart shirt found in the Cricut Design Space if you want to try your own. VIEW the POST

Easter Cooking – Snowy Easter Cupcakes

I was looking for some inspiration for being “creative” with Easter cooking this year and I found some really good recipes. One website that was a brilliant resource for creative cooking for the kiddies, is the Annabel Karmel website: http://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/easter. I love the chocolate Easter egg nest cake idea: http://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/easter-recipes/chocolate-easter-egg-nests and the Easter Chick Cupcakes are amazing: http://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/easter/chick-cupcakes.

Crafty Constants: Eggy Easter People

Crafty Constants: Eggy Easter People

Inspired by the Eggy competition running on the Polarn O.Pyret Facebook page we decorated our little eggy heads today and we all got very creative, including Daddy and Grandad. Mummy got the glue and ribbon out, Daddy/Grandad & Noah stuck to the paint and pens. (Any excuse to get my craft box out!). VIEW the POST

Crafty Constants: Baking – Banana Muffins

Crafty Constants: Baking – Banana Muffins

Being a fussy little banana eater, I always like to use browning bananas in food recipes (so that I don't notice the brown too much) and so that they get eaten. one of my favourite foods is bananas but I hate the bruises on them, not sure why, I know it wont hurt me. Well anyway, here is a nice little recipe I use to make my Banana Muffins: Ingredients 125g butter 175g caster sugar 2 eggs 2 bananas 1tsp bicarb of soda 2tsp milk 125g S/R flour   Preparation Ping the milk in the microwave until boiling hot. Mash the bananas up. I always warm the butter in the fridge for 15 secs to get it nearer to room temp. Prepare a muffin tray with 12 cases. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Mixing it up Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl (mix it until it goes a light yellowy colour) and then mix in the eggs, one at a ...
