As you know I love my photography and so I jumped at the chance to review a Nixplay smart photo frame, it is a brilliant idea. However, this is not just a photo frame, it also allows you to share your photos with family or friends. It is such a clever idea and a talking point over the dinner table.
Setting up the Nixplay
It was really easy to set up as you just need to install the app. There are easy on screen instructions to follow to set the frame up, it syncs with the app and so every photo you upload to the app displays in the frame. It is very clever. It even does video.
Enjoying your photos
Once you have uploaded your photos to the app, you can simply sit back and watch them rotate on the smart frame. There is a Nixplay remote control too so you can go left or right, go to the gallery and volume control for videos. I am going to set up some videos for Christmas so that on Boxing Day, when the family are around the table, we can sit and watch them. The kids can say Christmas messages in the videos too.
The other great thing about these frames is that you can share the playlists from the app with friends and family. So, my family in New Zealand could down Nixplay and then see the photos/videos too. It’s such a lovely idea.
I think this is an amazing idea and a perfect Christmas gift for family or friends this Christmas. Just think, you could pre-populate it with photos before you give it and so when they turn it on the wonderful photos are already there.
