2019 photo challenge April day 27

Today’s keyword for the #mummyphotoaday photo challenge, April day 27, is “holiday”. I love this #holiday. So far we have explored so much of the island and learnt a lot about the culture. It’s been amazing. The children are at the age now where they are interested in facts, meeting new people and exploring with us which is brilliant. We hired a car from @kalivestravel yesterday and with the recommendations from my uncle, @swgbentley and @seacretehotels we visited 3 locations: Stavros Beach, Kalathas Beach and Chania Old Port. We crammed it all into one day but it was lots of fun. Daddy did well driving on the wrong side of the car and road! Last night I was taken into Kalayves to experience traditional Greek Easter, I lit a candle with the locals and we watched Judas burn on the bonfire. It was extraordinary. I’ll share some photos and videos in my stories of our day! It was lovely to spend some time with @mummy_to_triplets_and_bro and @ingazuolyte last night too! #mummyphotoaday

I love seeing all of the variety of photographs each month. There’s nothing better than a photo challenge. I love the subjective element to the photo challenge too. Everyone’s perspective of the theme is different. It has made me smile seeing all of the images so far. Thank you so much for the support in my latest adventure.
