To celebrate my birthday, yesterday, Books2Door have kindly offered 3 fantastic book boxsets for a giveaway. Books helped us get through lockdown and gave us some quiet moments throughout the past couple of years. I used to love reading as a child and I am so glad that my children are keen on this too. I used to read Goosebumps and Enid Blyton when I was younger. And we love Horrible Histories and we cannot wait to try Horrible Geography.

What do I win in this amazing competition?

Books2Door are giving away these 3 book boxsets to 1 lucky winner. They are great books for 9-14 year olds and will make a good reading collection for the rest of the year. What better way to celebrate 2022? Here is more about the book boxsets:

Goosebumps HorrorLand Series Collection 18 Books Box Set by R. L. Stine

I used to love these books when I was a child. For ghoulish and spine-tingling stories, theΒ Goosebump booksΒ must be added to your reading list. These fiction books are packed with mystery, adventure and of course plenty of fright! Authored by the famous R.L Stine, theΒ Goosebump booksΒ follow young characters who find themselves in one scary situation after another. A whopping 62Β Goosebump books have been published across the fiction series, so there are plenty to choose from and an entire collection for keen young readers.Β

Enid Blyton Adventure Series 8 Books Collection

Enid Blyton’s Adventure series brings together 8 classic stories from the bestselling author. Adventure appears wherever Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Ann and Jack go. Follow the group as they get into all sorts of adventures on an island, at sea, on a mountain and more. This set is perfect for children aged 9-14 and will give parents a true sense of nostalgia.

Horrible Geography Collection 12 Books Box Set

From the publishers who brought youΒ Horrible HistoriesΒ andΒ Horrible Science, leave the colouring pencils at home, as we take a trip through someΒ Horrible Geography. This award-winning series is written by Royal Geographical Society member Anita Ganeri, and illustrated by Mike Phillips (Horrible Histories: Gruesome Guides). For over twenty yearsΒ Horrible GeographyΒ has taken the boring out of geological surveys, the dull out of drafting a map, and tedium out of tide tables.

Goosebumps! I remember being about 5 and borrowing ‘Night of the Living Dummy’ from a boy at school. I read them religiously until about 2000 when they brought the Millennium series out and I guess I had grown out of them by that time. I also loved Enid Blyton’s ‘The Faraway Tree’ series & Roald Dahl, his books used to come free with a Tea brand when I was little!
