Welcome to the week of #SkyBoxSets, a little celebrations of all the amazing Sky Box Sets that are on my favourite channels. Mostly are on Sky Witness, but below are my favourites from the other channels too – that you simply cannot miss. This week is dedicated to my favourite shows right now, be sure to check back every day. Remember to #FeelTheDrama! There maybe some spoilers in this article, approach with caution…

We have to start off with one I have just finished and oh my goodness, you just have to watch it:

Sharp Objects on Sky Atlantic

This has now finished but the downloads should still be there, it is amazing. It is an 8 part drama, based on the book by Gillian Flynn. It has a lot of famous faces in it, I love Amy Adams and she plays the lead role of Camille very well. Patricia Clarkson plays Camille’s Mum very well, I couldn’t help but think of The Green Mile whilst watching her. It is a very dark, weird, drama if I can call it that in a positive way. You quickly work out why the show is called Sharp Objects, I won’t reveal that. It is based around a small town and it’s bizarre ways. There are 2 murders that happen, Camille is sent home to report on them and it brings it all back to her: why she left? what she left behind? What starts as an investigation into the two murders, quickly draws you into an underlying story. It is captivating. I had to Google Munchausen by Proxy as I was just intrigued, now that is a spoiler – so don’t google it if you do not want to know anything about the story.

Bulletproof

This was hilarious. These two would probably die for each other, and in this game, it could come to that. Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters star as Bishop and Pike, two streetwise London cops who strap up, strap in and speed around the city crushing crime, from robbery and kidnap to murder. But work occasionally has to take a back seat as family man Pike tries to escape his father’s shadow, and brooding bad boy Bishop smashes headlong into a personal crisis he never saw coming. It is so funny but completely full of action, this was a winner with Hubby.

Save me

WOW. Is all I can say. This show is great, completely full of drama and captivating. I love Suranne Jones and watching her in this show was just WOW. It is quite funny, but very dark in places too. Suranne and Lennie James (above) have a daughter together, but are separated. The story is about them searching for their daughter and the journey they go on is very twisted. It really is captivating. You have to watch it. It is a 6 part series and I would advise you set aside a day to watch them all back to back: because you will definitely want to.

A discovery of witches

Now this starts really soon, all I know is it looks excellent and I cannot wait to get stuck into it. What happens when a witch and a vampire fall in love? History professor and closet witch Diana Bishop and geneticist and secret vampire Matthew Clairmont find out when they are thrown together in pursuit of the truth behind a strange manuscript found in the University of Oxford’s Bodleian Library. The trailer looks incredible and I cannot wait.

What do you love at the moment, I would love to hear about it in the comments below or on social media: @mummyconstant. Any recommendations for a good watch are welcome. I love getting stuck into a good drama. Very excited about A discovery of witches, eek.
