The Constant household have been reviewing the honey products made by the Active Honey Company over the past couple of weeks and they have been liked very much, by little Noah especially.

The Active Honey CompanyΒ have just brought out a fabulous range of Active Rainforest honey from Chile, it is from unpolluted and uninhabited volcanic areas of Chile. We got the chance to review 2 products: the antiseptic spray and some very yummy edible honey.

The antiseptic honey is very potent when applied directly to the skin, because it is raw andΒ unpasteurised. It is sterile and can therefore be used on cuts and wounds, and it can also be used for dry skin, spots and blemishes. Over the past couple of weeks this has come in very handy with Noah and the cold weather, Noah is constantly banging himself on the furniture and cutting himself and my skin has been very dry because of these cold conditions. It really does smell wonderful and seems to instantly moisturise your skin – I am guessing its because honey is quite thick and therefore the consistency alone would give your skin moisture.

The wonderful tub of honey that we tried was just amazing, as soon as you remove the lid off the pot the smell hits you right in the nose! It smells incredible, the most powerful smelling honey I have ever smelt. It is really easy to get out with a spoon and doesn’t go everywhere like other honeys and it is very easy to spread. Noah especially loved this honey mixed in with his porridge and warm tea. The honey offers proven health and wellbeing benefits, ranging from coughs, colds, sore throats and mild stomach complaints. You can eat it straight out of the jar, it is that yummy – the perfect medicine!
