So, it’s been 4 weeks and I have finished cycle one of The Body Coach. I have not done too badly, considering we had Christmas over this period. I am really surprised with my new measurements and it has definitely given me the motivation to carry on.

I am feeling very tired. I know I am not sleeping very well, I should be getting at least 8 hours and I rarely get this amount of sleep. After all of these exercises I am feeling pretty exhausted, so in the next cycle I am going to try and get to bed earlier. I am my own worst enemy, I do not get to sleep until midnight then I am up at 6:30am, mostly with broken sleep too. Oh well the perils of exercising with children! Staying up until 1am wrapping presents on a few occasions, also didn’t help – my Mumma Elf duties.

My new measurements

I was amazed when I reviewed my measurements today. So I started off with these, all in inches/KG (and I am quite embarrassed about it to be honest):

Weight: 60kg
Chest: 35 inches
Hips: 39 inches
Waist: 36 inches
Biceps: 10.5 inches
Thighs: 23.5 inches

The areas I am not happy in are my hips, waist and thighs. So that’s what I wanted to work on more than the other areas. I was pleased with my hard work over the past 4 weeks. 5 workouts a week, eating the food plan (no carbs on rest days) and trying to cut out as much sweet/sugary foods as possible. My new measurements are:

Weight: 59kg
Chest: 34 inches
Hips: 38.5 inches
Waist: 34 inches
Biceps: 10.5 inches
Thighs: 19.5 inches

I am gobsmacked I have lost 4 inches in my thighs and 2 inches around my waist. This is definitely the motivation I needed. I will not be sharing my body photos though, I am not quite brave enough for that.

The veggie 90 day plan with The Body Coach is really good. I am finding the food absolutely delicious and the workouts are great too. I am constantly feeling achy in my muscles, which is how it should be though. Has anyone started this plan? I would love to know how you are doing in the comments below or on social media: @mummyconstant.
