These are my favourite things from the Wayfair website to spruce up my home for Summer. We are hoping to move very soon and when we do I will be buying all of these things. They are in my idea board, which you can do on the Wayfair website. So call it my Summer must haves for your home wishlist, if you like. Do you have items on your home wishlist too? I would love to hear all about them in the comments below!

For the garden

Clearly this is my first port of call, updating the garden furniture is a must for Summer! I love sitting in the garden in the Summer sun and so this Wooden Arbour is the perfect idea for a sunny corner of the garden. I would style it up with outdoor cushions and blankets. A little table for my cup of tea, or glass of wine too.

For the kitchen

We are on the hunt for a kitchen diner in our house hunt, so when I came across this modern & contemporary dining room, I literally wanted everything. The colourful lights and furniture work really well together. Rose gold is big at the moment, I have been stocking up on little accessories to add to my house, this aluminium tray is great. It was also too good to wait until we move so I have already got something from my ideas board!

For the lounge

I love big blankets, cushions and snuggly things. The sofa is my haven. Well, in second line after my bed. The rose gold light shades are just beautiful and I adore this occasional chair for the corner of the room. What a perfect place to sit and read a book, or do a little Sudoku?

For the bedroom

The bed is my favourite place in my house. I love snuggling in my bed, especially when the sun is setting as it streams in through my bedroom window and gives it that lovely golden glow. I have hundreds of cushions and throws for my bed. I simply can’t resist them, I couldn’t resist this circular scatter cushion either. The coastal theme is very popular with us, it reminds of all those lovely holiday memories.

For the bathroom

I find this room the hardest to style. I guess once we buy our own home, we can be a bit more free, but for the time being the only thing I can do is add moveable furniture and keep it clean. Well try to! A roll-top (free-standing) bath is one of my top priorities for the new house, I cannot wait to have my very own. Sat in front of a long window, where I can watch the world go by. They are beautiful and I could sit in it all day.

For the hallway

Not something you think about too often when thinking about room styling, but the hall way shouldn’t be forgotten. I love busy hallways, filled with cupboards and stuff. It means life! It always makes me suspicious when homes are completely immaculate. I love the idea of a nice shoe rack, to tidy up most of our shoe collection and a space to leave the stuff. You know what I mean: keys, school leaflets, socks (socks are everywhere in our house) and important things you do not want to forget when rushing out of the door.
